Between Order
and Chaos
Hello Stranger 🎈
I was trying to do a nice bio but i prefer to tell you a story.
I wanted to be a data scientist, but then i discovered chaos representation as order. So through my degree in computer science about digital art i discovered new worlds of research.
I am a visual artist and software engineer. My research fuses scenic dramaturgy with generative visual arts, investigating the boundary between order and disorder, between immobility and vitality.
I discovered the possibilities of generative visual arts during my Master’s thesis in Computer Engineering, ( published by intelligenzaartificialeitalia ) and from there began a path of research that continues today. Combining my theater studies with my technological knowledge thought a master degree, I have developed projects that use the power of images and the chaotic unpredictability of generative algorithms to investigate the latent: what escapes the gaze but is right there, before our eyes.
In 2021 I started a step-by-step carrier in theater and visual field working at Biennale di Venezia, then i presented my work in Roma at Testaccio Estate , at TAG and at MAM .
Each performance is a unique event, a birth of new images that exist only at that precise moment. It is precisely in this unpredictability that the balance between the rigidity of the code and my personal freedom of expression manifests itself.
Everything that happens in my works is always pure happening, it will never be replicable in the exact same way, just like it happens in the theater, at a concert or in life. I take the time to explore space and sound, placing digital art at the service of musicians, performers and audiences for sharing a moment of life together in a different way than usual. What about you? If you’re curious, if you want to build something new, if you want to push creative boundaries, let’s talk.
